PT Citra Surya Abadi Prima (PT.CSAP), the founder of Todachi, started its operational activities in the year of 1995. It was one of the countries largest spare parts suppliers for PT. Hitachi Manufacturing Indonesia for various HITACHI gas stoves products. Over time there has been a transfer of technology between the two companies and thus gives a great deal of advantage for PT CSAP to learn the skill of producing Japanese standard home appliances product. In 2002, Hitachi withdraws its investments in the field of small home appliances from Indonesia. This leads to the birth of Todachi in the early 2006, a revolutionary brand that employs technology from Japan. When it first started, Todachi has around 100 employees. Today, the company has nearly 800 employees including marketing, management, sales, administration, Research & Development and engineers. Todachi’s product line includes gas stove, air conditioning, gas regulator and electric fan with its popular tagline “The New Generation of the Blue Flame”. In 2011, Todachi with its exceptionally good quality product successfully came in as top 5 in the Top Brand Awards as one major big brand in the Indonesia gas stove industry
